Walkies4Events were searching for a rental software solution that would help it manage stock availability and provide a way to consolidate its systems to time by reducing the amount of rekeying of work.

QR Codes With the use of QR codes, we are able to tell our customers more information about their item. The QR codes are great in terms of keeping track of who is responsible for each walkie-talkie. With up to 100 radios being lost each year and 200-300 earpieces that get lost annually, we can see exactly which items are missing and who is responsible for them.

Managing pricing with ease Being able to program MCS-rm to handle our complex pricing structure was amazing for us! We take the number of walkie-talkies, as well as the number of days on rental into account to work out the cost per unit and only MCS was able to do this for us.

The MCS Team We have a very close relationship with the MCS team and our account manager. Throughout the implementation, we spoke to MCS every day and the implementation team were very reactive and always helped straight away – they are a great team to work with and they made the transition to MCS as smooth for us as possible.

Invoicing Before MCS, our invoicing process involved a lot of repetition of work. We’d have to do the same process more than once in different systems that didn’t talk to each other. Now, with our two programs consolidated, it is so much easier. We can now convert quotes to contracts, get everything ready and invoice the customer directly. It saves us a lot of time and it is really simple!
